GLORY STORY BY CRYSTAL I.

“GOD HAD OPENED A WINDOW FOR ME TO RECEIVE HIS BLESSING.”
My journey has been a rollercoaster of resilience and faith. Growing up with my mother’s drug use, I faced abuse at 14, leading to depression. After becoming pregnant, I was evicted and spent two years in a shelter. I then became pregnant again before I was 18 years old. Despite this, I earned my GED, a bachelor’s in business management, and a master’s in accounting.
After receiving my GED and going back to school to receive me bachelor’s in business management I officially started the WHOW Foundation, a nonprofit helping women overcome adversity. I later went back to school and earned my master’s in accounting. 2020 was tough with personal losses and COVID-19. Overwhelmed, I decided to trust God fully, giving everything I had in a sacrificial offering as a gesture of faith.
In December 2020, my $180,000 student loan debt was miraculously removed from my credit report, allowing me to pursue a home loan. I was able to secure a new home for me and my girls, buy a new car and hire employees for my business.
Two weeks later, I got a notification that my credit score had changed again. The car and house were added to my credit, but so were my student loans. The dates showed it all: January 29th—I bought my house; January 30th—I bought my car; January 31st—the student loans were added back. God had opened a window for me to receive His blessing.
Despite everything, I’ve stayed steadfast in my faith, believing that aligning with God’s will makes all things possible. My journey is a testament to overcoming adversity with perseverance, faith, and community support.
