POWER THOUGHT: FEAR
WHEN WE FOCUS ON OUR FEARS…
“For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.” Job 3:25 KJV
Often, dreadful fears will try and return with the dark intention to catch us off guard and to overwhelm us. How do we defeat those dark thoughts of fear, constantly, trying to steal from us? God always shines his light on our answers!
We must be consistent and relentless, to face our fear with faith and love. Friends, use your sword mightily, open your bible! God’s holy word shows us the way and sets us free!
“(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 KJV
OVERCOMING FEARS
In order to overcome our fears, we ask the Holy Spirit to help fight ferociously against every negative thought, which are lies from the power of darkness! We know the father of lies ceaselessly attempts to steal and destroy our truth, joy, faith, love, marriage, family, and our destiny. Speak the word out loud and defeat the enemy! We were taught in the book of James, as we submit to God, and do it, his way, the enemy must flee! Do not allow fear to take control of your thoughts, instead, focus on holy thoughts. As we think good thoughts and train our minds to read scriptures which affirm good healthy thinking. Ask Jesus to control your thoughts, or they will control you. Fear opens the door to Satan’s attacks on us because fear destroys faith and steals the promises of God.
NOT TODAY SATAN!
Refuse to let the adversary put your mind into “what if’s” and “if only’s.” These are traps that keep us held in fear, unbelief, and darkness. Activate your faith and move forward in Christ Jesus. Remember, Worship him with all your heart! Our God, takes such delight in our prayers, praise and songs, lifted up to him! Friends, God brought you here today for a reason. I am sincerely praying for you, as you continue to fight the Good-fight of faith.
Perfect love casts out ALL fears.
