Interestingly, Job’s intense testing, crushing and his severe suffering, ended when he did these five acts: He surrendered to three honorable acts of humility, offered a prayer in obedience, for his friends and their folly before Almighty God. Job finally embraced suffering and repented.

Three acts of humility:

1. ” Then Job replied to the Lord: “I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted. “ Job 42:1-2 

2. ” Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know. “ Job 42:3b 

3. ” My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you. Therefore, I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes.” Job 42:5-6

Friends, whatever testing, crushing and great suffering you are walking or crawling through, today, quickly surrender to this season of suffering. Let it have its way with you. I know how hard this is to hear, but this is of utmost importance to where you are going!  Jesus will see you through this night season! 

Selah means to pause, reflect, perhaps it’s time we step back and reflect on where we are in this journey?  Dear bride of Christ, as we surrender, repent, embrace suffering and humble ourselves before the Lord God our Maker, in due time he has promised he will exalt us. Perseverance and patience must have their way, as our godly characters are being brought through the fiery fire of refinement!   Those who are experiencing battled fatigue, hold on, we will come out of this fire spiritually equipped, dressed and ready to step into the fullness of our destiny’s!
